Palworld 1.0 Breeding Farm Guide: Best Pals for Better Eggs
Build a Palworld 1.0 Breeding Farm with five essential Pals for more eggs, Alpha eggs, faster production, and shorter incubation.
Published 20 lug 2026 · Updated 25 lug 2026

At character level 19, you unlock the Breeding Farm. Before you start a serious breeding project, prepare these five Pals: Grintale, Broncherry, Broncherry Aqua, Braloha, and Dynamoff.
| Pal | Put it here | Partner Skill effect at Rank 0 |
|---|---|---|
| Grintale | Party | Picking up a Pal Egg has a 50% chance to give you one extra egg. Does not stack. |
| Broncherry | Party | A picked-up Pal Egg has a 35% chance to become an Alpha Pal Egg. Does not stack. |
| Broncherry Aqua | Party | A picked-up Pal Egg has a 45% chance to become an Alpha Pal Egg. Does not stack. |
| Braloha | Base | Pals assigned to the Breeding Farm produce eggs 20% faster. Does not stack. |
| Dynamoff | Base | Egg incubation time is 20% shorter. Does not stack. |
This guide is about the Pals you prepare before breeding. It does not cover passive inheritance or breeding routes.
Partner Skill names, descriptions, and base values in this guide use Palworld 1.0's in-game English text.
1. Grintale: the must-have egg Pal
Grintale's Partner Skill, Glaring Cat's Eye, gives you a 50% chance to receive one extra Pal Egg whenever you pick one up while Grintale is in your party.
Put differently: collect 10 eggs and you should leave with 15 on average. That is effectively 50% more eggs to hatch without spending extra cake. Compared with Braloha's 20% increase to egg production at Rank 0, Grintale is the better early upgrade whenever you are actively collecting eggs yourself.
Condensing increases the chance. At Rank 4, the displayed chance is 75% for one extra egg.
Grintale is also an early Pal. If you do not want to wait for the wild night spawns, catch the level 17 Alpha instead. Wild Grintale starts at level 23 and appears at night, so the Alpha is usually the easier first capture. Its saddle also unlocks at level 19—the same level as the Breeding Farm.
Use it in three steps:
- Craft Grintale's saddle.
- Put Grintale in your party.
- Pick up the egg yourself.
You do not need to ride it. The saddle activates the Partner Skill; the manual pickup triggers it. If you are collecting Breeding Farm eggs yourself, bring Grintale.
2. Broncherry and Broncherry Aqua: turn eggs into Alpha Pals
Regular Alpha eggs are rare, and even a good Alpha does not automatically hatch with the passives you want. Broncherry and Broncherry Aqua solve the first problem:
| Pal | Partner Skill | Alpha egg chance |
|---|---|---|
| Broncherry | Love's First Blossom | 35% |
| Broncherry Aqua | Purity's Full Bloom | 45% |
The skill names are different, so you can bring both Pals in your party. Pocketpair has not explained whether their chances are added directly or rolled separately.
If they add directly, the chance is 35% + 45% = 80%. If they are independent rolls, the chance that at least one succeeds is:
1 - (1 - 0.35) * (1 - 0.45) = 0.6425
That is 64.25%. In my own small test of several dozen egg pickups, the Alpha-egg rate felt closer to 80%. Treat that as personal field experience rather than a confirmed formula, but I currently believe the game adds the two effects.
Bring both when you are breeding combat Pals and want the larger Alpha body and HP bonus. Do not bring them by default when you are hatching Pals to butcher for drops: normal and Alpha Pals are not always equally useful for that purpose.
The setup is simple:
- Craft both saddles.
- Put both Pals in your party.
- Pick up the egg yourself.
Broncherry's saddle unlocks at level 33; Broncherry Aqua's unlocks at level 44.
3. Braloha: make the Breeding Farm produce eggs faster
Braloha was the essential breeding Pal in the previous version. Its Partner Skill, Balmy Weather, increases the egg production speed of Pals assigned to a Breeding Farm by 20% while Braloha is at your base.
It is weaker than an actively collected bonus egg from Grintale, but it does not cost a party slot. Put one in your base and let it work in parallel with your party setup.
One Braloha is enough at Rank 0. The in-game text marks the effect as non-stacking, so adding more copies does not multiply the base bonus. Braloha also has level 5 Planting and Gathering, so it can still contribute at a production base.
Its saddle unlocks at level 36.
4. Dynamoff: speed up incubation after the egg is ready
Dynamoff handles the other half of the loop. Its Partner Skill, Electro-Massage Incubation, shortens egg incubation time by 20% while it is at your base.
If you have set egg incubation time to zero, it has no practical value. Otherwise, leave it at the base to make your incubators finish sooner. It is less important than the Pals above, but it has level 6 Generating Electricity, so it can also keep a production base powered.
Dynamoff lives on the Sky Islands at a higher level, so it is usually a mid-game capture rather than your first breeding Pal.
FAQ
Why is Grintale in my party not working?
Craft its saddle, put it in your party, then pick the egg up manually.
Where can I get these Pals?
Grintale is very easy to obtain. I recommend catching its Alpha: open the map with M and look to the upper-right of the starting area, or check the Grintale detail page for the current spawn point.
Broncherry is similar. Its level 23 Alpha is easier to catch than the level-30-plus wild spawns.
After you catch Broncherry, you can breed Broncherry Aqua directly:
Pengullet + Broncherry = Broncherry Aqua
Use the Broncherry Aqua breeding combinations page for the current recipe list.
